1689 Coronation brass counter MI 679/56 EF

Obverse: Conjoined busts, both draped, he laureate.

Reverse: Arms of Great Britain within ten Garter, crown, crest and supportedrs.

The counter was struck at Nuremberg by Lazarus Gottlieb Lauffer.

Much better quality than is common for this type of counter.
